Welcome! I'm Catherine, owner of Asilomar Photography. Mother to our four kids, wife to Nate, and dog mum to our cheeky McNab, Sierra. I live on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula in Pacific Grove, surrounded by stunning walks and scenery. I love spending time outdoors, but nothing beats snuggling up with my family, a good movie, and some chocolate!

MY JOURNEY...
I grew up in a small mining town in Australia. I always imagined this world full of adventures and experiences awaiting me beyond the horizon. My love for adventure led me on a backpacking trip to travel the world.

It was San Diego where I met my husband 20+ years ago and continued my adventure to the UK. it was with pen to paper relying on the postal service and the red phone booths that made it possible to stay in touch being oceans apart.

No matter where I roamed, my family and Australia always remained my anchor. Fast forward 10 years and I've since had the honor to meet and photograph some incredible people, travel to other countries, including commercial shoots, fundraisers, concerts, athletes, weddings... you name it, I feel so honored to be the one making the memories for you.
